The Safety Engineer position will have the following responsibilities:

· Assist in the development and implementation of Safety programs to address specific needs

· Maintain a thorough knowledge of Safety and related regulations including: OSHA, NFPA and ACGIH and insure that Lincoln complies with all applicable regulations

· Know and understand company rules and regulations regarding EHS issues

· Assist in evaluation of new equipment or facilities improvements

· Perform accident investigations, analyze root cause and provide corrective measures

· Assist in improving the safety culture throughout the organization


· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health, Human Resources, Industrial Technology or related field

· Minimum of 3 years safety experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment

· Experience in Manufacturing and/or design of equipment is highly desirable

· Familiarity with Consumable and Machine Division products

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Uncompromising attitude toward safety and environmental issues

· Demonstrated record of increasing responsibility and leadership

· Possess solid computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ability to implement appropriate EHS software

· Willing to be trained in emergency response based activities
