Supervise and ensure compliance with Company safety initiatives using Safety Management Guidelines.
Partners with CSC Leadership regarding employee safety issues involving MI-OSHA, and other federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
Coordinate employee safety initiatives and appropriate measurement systems as set by company and customer.
Regularly trains employees on all Employee Safety SOPs
Supervise daily area / department activities in the CSC
Conduct regular Safety meetings as required/needed.
Coordinate and ensure every accident//incident is investigated and corrective/preventive action is implemented and sustained.
Maintains MI-OSHA logs, forms, etc. are in compliance.
Manages Workers’ Compensation program insuring compliance.
Partners with CSC Leadership to ensure Safety Audit Readiness
Participate and support company sponsored initiatives as directed.

Passing scores for local and Corporate Safety Audits
Effectiveness of Safety training and initiatives
Improvement in Workers’ Compensation expenditures
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering or in related field preferred
At least two (2) years of directly related experience in operations and/or safety required
Ability to make effective presentations and training programs.
Proven analytical and leadership skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to develop and lead others to obtain desired results.
Understanding and applicability of relevant governmental regulations.
Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills required
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer application
Must be flexible to work weekends and varying shifts as necessary.
