Environmental Health & Safety at the University of Central Florida has an opening for a Safety Training Coordinator.
Qualified candidates for this position must bring demonstrated experience and skills in the following areas:
Planning, developing, implementing, and presenting various safety trainings, certifications, and stand-alone programs for all levels of employees within the university.
Planning follow-up safety procedures and trainings mandated by federal, state, and local occupational and environmental safety regulations.
Designing course material and utilizing computerized system to maintain attendance records and compile program reports.
Analyzing specific ongoing training needs and designing courses to promote a safety culture within the university.

Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.
Preference will be granted to the candidate who possesses excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as proven ability to develop and produce policies, training materials, and presentations.
Ability to work independently, plan, organize, and effectively work with a diverse group is preferred.
Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management is preferred.
