Wintec’s retail division is expanding and looking for the right talent to help us establish and grow business within consumer retail channels, both online and in brick-and-mortar stores. Responsibilities

Be the face of Wintec with your assigned retail customers as you foster relationships with key decision makers in retail and e-commerce accounts in your assigned territory. Identify and drive business opportunities both with established accounts and with new retail partners.

Manage day-to-day business with assigned accounts to maximize assortment and sales of Wintec and vendor partner products. Manage and solve complex problems in order to maximize product sell-through.

Conduct monthly and quarterly account review meetings to evaluate business needs and resolve any issues to ensure positive growth.

Help identify and launch leading edge and emerging consumer products, including 3D printing, mobile, gaming, media devices and more. Launch new product lines and identify creative and out-of-box marketing promotions to drive sales. Work closely with our current vendor partners to maximize sales in accounts.

Represent customer requirements and opportunities with internal staff, including inside sales, procurement and marketing groups. Create and maintain account forecasts.

Develop pricing, promotional and marketing strategy for assigned accounts to maintain uniformity across the retail channel.

Ensure that all Wintec and distributed vendor products are presented in a manner to ensure branding consistent with company goals. Monitor presence of products with e-commerce and retail store customers to ensure competitive pricing and promotions that maximize sell-through.

Minimum Qualifications:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

2-5 years of industry knowledge and related experience with the retail channel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Direct experience calling on and established relationships with key retailers in the technology and consumer electronics markets including, but not limited to, Walmart, Newegg, Groupon, eBay, Best Buy and Office Superstores.

Successful work experience in sales/account management/channel management with consumer electronics or high-tech products.

Proven ability to plan and manage business at both the strategic and operational levels within the retail sales channel.

Travel Requirement:

25-50% travel to conduct business with assigned accounts and attend industry tradeshows.
