This Sales Administrative Assistant (SAA) is responsible for providing administrative support to the National Sales Leader (NSL). The ideal candidate must have the ability to multitask and complete projects in a timely manner. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem solving skills. In addition, the SAA must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • The coordination and scheduling of meetings for the (NSL) as well as other members of senior leadership.
  • Arranging travel plans and reservations based upon the guidance of the NSL.
  • Providing timely responses to the general inquiries of the sales team as well as senior leadership team members.
  • Providing details regarding sales performance of the company to NSL and other senior level directors. The ability to analyze general data points and provide executive level summaries based upon the data.
  • Maintaining the electronic database of the sales department of the company and updating all relevant information in a timely manner.
  • Preparing presentations and reports regarding sales proposals and plans for use by the NSL and senior leaders in the organization.
  • Conducting administrative duties in a timely and efficient manner as requested.
  • Coordinate work flow for projects and initiatives undertaken by the sales organization.
  • Update and follow through on delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines is met and exceeded when possible.
  • Take initiative in manager’s absence to provide the proper support for the sales organization.
  • Keep projects on schedule by providing relevant and timely updates to stakeholders within the sales organization.
  • Maintain on-line policies and procedures manual to ensure consistent performance of the sales.
  • Required Experience EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of at 4 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant to a senior level executive.
  • Strong skills with Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, multi-task, and cope well with frequent change.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate numerous complex and time-critical client support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing support activities.
