O v erview

The Sales Associate provides Sales Managers and Account Executives with administrative and client facing support to achieve sales targets. This is a learning position, with the intent of building company knowledge and an understanding of the sales process and systems. This position is intended for an individual demonstrating an aptitude, motivation, and desire to advance as a sales professional. Sales Associates interact with internal and external client contacts. They manage information of a sensitive, complex, and sometimes confidential nature both inside and outside of the company. This position requires exceptional judgment and discretion.

A b out the Team

The Intralinks sales teams build relationships and business in the high-growth SaaS space with investment bankers, corporate attorneys, private equity, and corporate development executives (M&A). Intralinks is a sales driven organization that provides the tools, training, and internal support for success.

Responsibilities

Meet or Exceed sales activity commitments with high quality input
Compile and distribute client proposals; price out extensions
Coordinate with Legal regarding contract proposals, extensions, and amendments creation and processing
Coordinate resolution of credits and billing issues with Finance
Manage DVD requests and processing, exchange shut downs, page count verifications
Build Intralinks product knowledge and understanding of the sales process and systems
Learn the Intralinks platform and assist in product demos
Assist with CRM data management (Salesforce.com)
Research relationships with accounts
Delegate leads
Early stage sales certifications
Coordinate the team’s success through client facing activities:
Assist in planning client events and meetings
May assist in Marketing and local events
Accompany Account Executives on client meetings
Some prospecting and discovery calls
Own some client relationships
Negotiate extensions

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum years’ experience: 2 years of business experience
Solid skills with MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel
Excellent customer communication and interpersonal skills
Good judgment, able to handle confidential information in a professional sales environment
Detail oriented, organized approach
Customer focused, self-motivated, goal oriented, fast learner
Ability to multi-task
Team orientation
Sales experience preferred
