The primary focus of OSH Sales Associates is to enhance the customer shopping experience by providing fast, friendly service to customers by satisfying their needs and providing proactive sales assistance and support. Sales associates have a strong background in department and product knowledge, present information on product features, and provide frontline contact with the customer to ensure that the customer’s shopping experience is positive. He/she is responsible for accomplishing the business goals for sales and profit; recognize and acknowledge the Customer at all times, provide service to all customers, control inventory of department merchandise, maintain housekeeping, safety and security within the department.
Job Responsibilities
Enhance the customer experience, develop customer relationships and maintain a customer focused environment by following the Solution Selling model
Maintains merchandise standards and housekeeping standards within assigned departments
Works with the Department Lead to implement promotional programs; end caps, bulk stacks, signing, etc. and assists with merchandise resets
Provides support to the Front-End/Cashier operation in the form of carryouts, product information, back-up support, etc.
Maintains and protects company funds, assets and property by following company policies and procedures
Assist in control of markdowns and shrink. Protect company assets
Maintains a safe work environment
Stocks merchandise to designated areas (as needed)
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
