PSAV Presentation Services is excited for the return of our second annual Sales Training Camp scheduled to launch on January 7, 2013. This 8-week training program designed with a mix of hands-on and classroom-based training will prepare you for immediate placement into a ‘Sales Manager’ role within our nationwide network of luxury hotel and conference center properties. PSAV is searching for motivated candidates interested in a career in hospitality and meeting services to join our Sales Training Camp. PSAV’s passionate sales staff provides frontline exposure for PSAV. They make sure our clients’ needs are met pre-event, at the event and post-event. They are the primary point of contact and the face of PSAV. They are responsible for making sure our existing clients are satisfied as well as ensuring that prospective clients understand why PSAV is the best choice for in-house event technology services in their assigned location. Our sales professionals are responsible for growing event technology revenue and profitability while maximizing customer satisfaction from pre-event planning through post-event follow-up. It’s an integral role which requires passionate, business-savvy and dedicated sales professionals.
Qualified candidates must possess the following background:
4-year college graduate with a BA/BS degree; preference for Hospitality, Business, Communications or related field
At least 1 year professional work experience or a combination of employment/internships; Prior experience in sales, technology and/or hospitality a plus
Strong interest in a sales career with the opportunity for advancement and promotion
Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills
Technical aptitude demonstrated through interest and exposure to new technology
Willingness to relocate within the US during your career with PSAV for advancement opportunities
Flexibility to attend 2 weeks of training in Chicago, IL (expenses paid) during the weeks of January 7th & February 25th

Candidates will receive a base salary during the training program and have the ability to earn a base salary + commission upon placement as a Sales Manager (placement will occur immediately upon completion of the training).
