  • Develop and advance the interest of leads as assigned to move them from suspects to prospects
  • Manage the communication strategy for an identified list of unassigned accounts to nurture interest and engage potential buyers through direct contact and use of marketing initiatives. The objective is to identify account potential and with sales leader guidance assign appropriate prospects into acquisition portfolios for further development by a sales person.
  • Drive and follow-up on marketing initiatives related to the client acquisition team’s operation (team general clients, prospects and suspects)
  • Work with sales associates to assist them in advancing their own opportunities
  • Partner with sales associates to coordinate account management activities
  • Research and identify additional buying centers within prospects assigned to sales associates – as requested
  • Conduct account research and gather intelligence assisting with activities as part of various selling processes
  • Manage the client acquisition team’s marketing database so that marketing/sales/delivery understands where accounts are in the sales funnel and assist in advancing opportunities through funnel stages.
  • Manage database quality which includes updating names, addresses etc.
  • Work with Demand Generation, sales leader and sales associates to develop account/assignment specific tactics for acquisition, penetration and/or expansion
  • Drive attendance for marketing events in partnership with marketing, regions and sales associates
  • Facilitate account transitions in partnership with sales associates, sales leader and the customer
Relevant Qualifications
  • Business or related degree or equivalent experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, personal computer, accurate typing skills, database management, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Familiarity with a CRM and internet based research tools
  • Strong client service orientation (internal and external)
  • Strong interpersonal skills (face to face and phone)
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks/priorities independently
  • Exhibit high initiative and energy; sense of urgency
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent analysis skills
  • Have strong fact-finding skills and be able to "size up" the situation and act on it
