Cargill AgHorizons serves farm customers in the United States and is dedicated to helping farmers prosper. Products and services include grain origination and storage, grain marketing resources, and advice.
The Sales Customer Service Representative will provide a high level of customer service to Farmer Producers and is a key member of the Cargill Mid-South Farm Service Group Sales Support Team.
This position works at our Hales Point facility in Halls, TN.
50% - Administrative duties: Contract management (entry, confirmation, pricing, amendments, past-due, etc.). Provide high level administrative support for customer related activities. Answer and service incoming customer calls and handling walk in customers where applicable. Communication of settlement detail to relevant teammates. Provide administrative support for grower communication (newsletters, brochures, direct mail)
20% - Assist Farm Marketers in buying grain and selling solutions in order to meet individual, location and Farm Service Group targeted account goals
20%- Follow up on accounts receivables, new customer account setup, update customer communication, reconcile solutions related balance sheet accounts etc.
10%- Proactively buy grain and sell solutions to non-targeted accounts through inbound and outbound calls
Relocation will not be provided for this position.
High School Diploma/GED equivalent or higher
2+ years experience in inside sales or customer service
Must be proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel
Proven strong ability to work independently
Proven strong interpersonal communication skills
Proven ability to accurately and consistently execute complex and detailed processes and procedures
Proven influencing skills
Proven ability to work effectively across all levels of organization and functions.
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively on a day-to-day basis
Associate's Degree or higher
Grain merchandising knowledge
Familiar with production agriculture
Familiarity with Lynx or other ERP applications
