Overview/Purpose

POPSUGAR is looking for a superstar storyteller for the Integrated Marketing team. At the core of this role is the need for a big thinker, someone that really understands sales strategy, and how to create, pitch and sell big concepts. This role will work closely with the VP of Integrated Marketing to drive the story of the brand to the advertising community as well as work closely with edit and consumer marketing to ensure alignment. Core functions will include: work on all trade and product marketing efforts, as well as lead sales strategy, tentpole creation and packaging needs. The day to day will be working closely with sales, edit, marketing and operations, to determine needs and strategize accordingly. This person must be able to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task and not be afraid to roll up their sleeves. Knowledge of POPSUGAR audience a big plus.
· Reports to VP of Integrated Marketing
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for brand’s b2b presence (includes advertising, events, and strategy)
  • Responsible for co-creating product strategy with Operations
  • Work closely with Sales and Operations to drive overall selling strategy
  • Create and package all selling opportunities
  • Work closely with Consumer Marketing to create sales packages, tent pole events and materials
  • Research and develop new promotional partnerships, strategic alliances, and marketing programs
  • Create big idea programs, and work with creative services managers on smaller RFP- based requests
  • Present programs to clients during calls with management and sales staff
  • Lead development and production of all promotional materials, including special advertising sections, sell sheets, collateral, premiums etc.
  • Lead trade marketing event strategy and execution with Events Director
  • Management of direct reports may be involved
Requirements:
  • Minimum 9 years experiences
  • Digital and/or Publishing experience preferred
  • Multi-task oriented
  • Strong presentation and writing skills a must
  • Experience managing budgets, staff and events a must
  • Some travel
  • NYC based preferred, will consider LA or SF
