The Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Ensighten, you will play a key role as we expand our marketing activities to support our fast-growing business. You will work closely with our marketing team to qualify opportunities in target accounts and feed the sales pipeline. The SDR will initiate the first conversations with our potential customers and needs to make a positive impression. You will be able to educate the potential customers on Ensighten’s Tag Management System (TMS) and its ability to manage all 3rd party vendor tags, pixels, and java script. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, with a high-energy, positive phone presence, and a track record of effective, credible lead follow-up and sales development.
  • Educate and qualify inbound leads to create sales-ready leads and opportunities via phone and email
  • Research accounts prior to first contact to understand need and educate the prospect on the benefits of Ensighten’s TMS
  • Become a credible resource and develop trusted relationships with prospects around analytics, website optimization, advertising pixels and all other online marketing technologies
  • Work closely with marketing to support successful outbound campaigns
  • Work closely with Sales Account Executives to identify and uncover opportunities at target accounts
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Track all prospecting and lead management activities in Salesforce.com

You
  • Minimum 1-2 year(s) experience in sales, online marketing, account management, or customer facing role
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage time and resources effectively when working with a high volume of leads
  • Superior pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling skills
  • Superb communications skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to demonstrate products highlighting benefits/advantages/featuresD
  • Experience with CRM solutions such as SalesForce.com
  • Demonstrated success of working independently with a proven track record of prospecting
  • Passion for testing, measuring and improving marketing campaign effectiveness
