DUTIES

  • Target and grow new small account business through Carl Zeiss Vision customer database, and lead acquisition
  • Manage and grow the commercial activity for current accounts under $50KUSD annual turnover
  • Develop and maintain a small customer database for North American market
  • Target plano lens sales to Eye Care Providers (ECP), Independent labs and distributors
  • Target non-traditional revenue streams and markets
  • Evaluate various branding opportunities
  • Responsible for creating and managing an e-catalog and driving business to our e-commerce site
  • Assist in the marketing and promotion of or our e-commerce site
  • Drive small businesses to our e-commerce site via cold calling and email blasts
  • Approach various channels to deplete slow moving inventory
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Meet margin targets
  • Meet sales budget targets
  • Accurate customer database creation and management
  • MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent phone presence and ability to speak and communicate ideas clearly
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Assertive, self-motivated, quick learner with ability to work well on her/his own
  • Outgoing, self-starter eager to find new business and grow existing accounts
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills required, including oral, presentation and written
  • Quick decision-maker
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical product knowledge
  • Ability to interact with diverse teams including customer service, product development, finance, marketing
