Description:
The Government Program Sales Overlay will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all Medicare and/or Medicaid Services at TriZetto. This position will educate and sell Government Programs Services and Solutions to both current and prospective clients. Responsibilities include assisting in identification of opportunities, defining the value proposition, managing, and closing client deals and contracts, maintaining the integrity of cross-product and services deals, and working in concert with Sales to prioritize and focus efforts on sales opportunities.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:
  • Promote and sell TriZetto software, solutions, and services to potential and current clients.
  • Drive the pursuit of sales opportunities for all assigned pursuits and/or accounts.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships with both current and prospective clients.
  • Provide industry and market expertise in the Medicare and/or Medicaid space.
  • Define the value proposition in terms that are meaningful and compelling to the prospect or client.
  • Ensure that a balanced representation of TriZetto's products and services are considered in responding to sales opportunities and business case assessments as appropriate.
  • Work in concert with Sales Directors and Sales Leaders to prioritize and focus efforts on those opportunities which will lead to overall quota attainment.
  • Partner with Services Product Management and the Markets.
  • For assigned pursuit teams, be actively engaged in defining and executing sales strategy and close plan.
Work with pricing to make sure that the solution is priced appropriately for the market that the solution is serving.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years selling Medicare and/or Medicaid solutions.
  • Previous background in Medicare and/or Medicare market required.
  • Subject matter expert in Medicare and/or Medicaid.
  • Experience solution sales.
  • Expertise in negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-matrixed environment.
  • 50% travel required.
  • Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Computer Skills:
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • Other Abilities:

  • Intermediate organizational abilities
  • Intermediate comprehension capabilities
