The IMS portfolio is very comprehensive and has offerings right from Data Center services (including ‘break-fix’ maintenance services), End User Computing services, Security & Compliance services to Remote Infrastructure management services from Zensar numerous centers around the globe.


The Director of Sales will be responsible for the overall sales for GIM business unit across verticals and in the eastern region of the United States (NY, Mid Atlantic, South Eastern states) . As part of an entrepreneurial environment at Zensar, the Sales Director must successfully generate leads and manage all stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closure and post-sale account management transition to delivery.

Specifically, the Sales Director will be responsible for:
Lead a team of 4 sales reps, at individual contributor levels, to deliver sales revenue of nearly $15 Million in 2013.

Development the short and long term strategy and roadmap (along with the practices organization) for expanding Zensar’s client base across this sector.

Ownership of the sales forecast of this business unit.

Taking a strong role in managing new business opportunities.

Serving as a dedicated strategic partner to client(s) with overall responsibility for client relationship, account vision/planning, revenue growth and account profitability.

Leveraging and managing alliances/partnerships to offer enhanced value to the client.

Serving as a leader, mentor and coach to Zensar’s eastern region sales organization.

Communicating effectively with cross-functional groups and building strategic relationships with client teams to further penetrate existing clients and develop new business based on credible relationships with top executives.

Required Experience:

The candidate will have a minimum ten years professional experience with at least five years’ experience in sales leadership and at least three years in selling IMS. This experience should preferably come from a highly respected consulting/advisory or IT/Outsourcing services firm. The Sales Director must have proven success selling and managing large scale, complex global services based outsourcing programs.

Highly self-motivated and can perform without appreciable direction.

Develops a “following”, both within his/her firm and in the industry client community

Demonstrated entrepreneurial and commercial instinct. Highly self-motivated and thrives on autonomy, yet naturally collaborates with peers.
