If so, Connor Manufacturing Services has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer to add to our sales team, with the primary focus being on developing new accounts for our Portland plant. Connor is a global manufacturing company of precision stamped metal parts and electro-mechanical assemblies.

The Portland Sales Engineer responsibilities will include:
*Developing and maintaining new business in the Northwestern U.S., including but not limited to Oregon, Washington, Idaho and California. Primary focus will be in the Portland-Seattle-Spokane-Salem region.
*Helping to create and execute a marketing plan specific to the Portland, OR site.
*Reporting on weekly schedule, which includes customer visits and RFQ activity.
*Working to reach/exceed annual forecasted budget
*Communicating with customer service, engineering and all other internal departments.
*Driving to sales calls that are within 300 miles of home.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering and a minimum of 3 years' experience selling for a custom manufacturing company, including a proven track record in penetrating new accounts and markets with a basic technical knowledge of custom manufactured parts. Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates will also need to have strong computer skills. Frequent travel will be required. Experience selling for a custom metal stamping or metal fabrication company preferred.
