Job Requirements:
Education / Experience

·

BSME or equivalent Technical Degree required

·

3-5+ years relevant experience in industrial sales.

·

Experience and familiarity with heavy duty brakes and friction products a plus.

Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to serve a particular market segment and multiple associated customers in support of our business plans. Major responsibilities include the successful establishment and continued leading and maintenance of customer relationships, the protection, maintenance, and growth of sales revenues, the ownership of all commercial negotiation of pricing and contracts. Other responsibilities include some technical support and applications work.

Essential Functions:
·

Develop specific customer accounts and relationships – following up on leads, conducts and leads customer meetings, customer entertainment, etc.

·

Identifies and defines new opportunities, documents them into the Company PDS system for quotation process and presents quotations to customers or potential customers.

·

Develops and closes opportunity into New Business Awards

(

NBA)

·

Writes, negotiates, and closes business contracts as required in collaboration with Marketing Segment , Sales Director, and Product Managers

·

Communicates customer forecasting and demand signals to the cross function groups within Company, which intern helps drive operation planning and AOP activities.

·

Helps resolve payment issues with accounts payable dept.

·

First line of contact for customer issues or quality concerns.

·

Responsible for implementation and defending price in collaboration with Marketing Segment , Sales Director, and Product Managers

·

Defends and protects assigned book of business, with constant customer service and face to face customer calls.

·

Responsible for representing the company to customers at field events such as customer meetings, conferences, seminars, etc.

·

Meet or exceed customer expectations and to build / reinforce a positive Company brand promise.

·

Study, analyze, and report on quality of Company service, customer attitudes, economic conditions, and government controls, with respect of their effects on sales of existing or proposed services.

Continually ev

aluate the timely adjustment of sales strategies and plans to meet changing market competitive conditions.

·

Manage Company’s value proposition to the market, customers and industry including service, price and product sales strategies.

·

Implement both tactics and long-term sales strategies geared toward greater global market share and profitability.
