Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
-Designs sales programs
-Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume.
-May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
-Dealing with the existing customer base.
-Identification of market potential and strategic fields of development through market- and competitor analysis.
-Answering requests for proposals.
-Providing International HQ with information on US sales efforts, thereby linking the US sales department to the International engineering and production departments.
-Ability to work effectively and in a professional manner with diverse cultures.
-Frequent travel, must keep valid and current transport
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, or related area or related experience
At least 3 years of experience in technical/engineering field.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Presentation software; Email; Internet and Database software.
