SEs are the primary technical resource for the sales and services teams.
SEs are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and speaking about the implementation of said technology to prospects and early stage customers.
SEs are also responsible for approving website migrations onto the HubSpot CMS, ensuring the quality of migrations performed by the migration team, and addressing customers’ concerns with delivered migrations.
SEs must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales and consulting process.
SEs must be able to creatively solve technical implementation issues in a variety of technical environments.
What we need to know about you:
You are …
Very comfortable on the phone speaking to clients in all stages of the sales cycle (past sales experience is a HUGE plus).
Can write custom HTML/CSS from scratch.
Can debug existing HTML/CSS using browser tools like Firebug or Console.
Have written production code in at least one object-oriented language (PHP, ASP.NET, Python); Python is a plus, but not required.
Understand how to write code that works with the web, using forms and REST APIs (and understand the difference between GET/POST).
B.A. or B.S. degree (M.S. or an M.B.A. is a plus).
3+ years programming or technical experience (sales engineer experience preferred).
