Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the field sales force. Sales Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations
Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
Able to convey customer requirements to delivery and engineering
Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
Deliver refined customer requirements to the delivery and engineering teams for efficient implementation
Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests
Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule
Prepares cost estimates by studying plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers and delivery
Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements
Develops customer's staff by providing technical information and training
Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends
Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in Crowdsourcing, SAAS or BPO with knowledge of technology. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
3-5+ years relevant experience in the Crowdsourcing, SAAS or BPO industry
Experience and familiarity of our products and line of business a plus

Travelling to visit potential clients

Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
