What is the Sales Executive Role?
Sales Executives in our Middle Market division work in an exciting, fast-paced culture, surrounded by talented, motivated and intellectual colleagues who thrive on helping executives solve their most pressing business challenges. As part of CEB’s fastest growing division, Sales Executives within Middle Market embrace the opportunity to drive results in an area that significantly impacts the firm’s overall growth and bottom line.
The primary responsibility of this role is to
engage with C-suite level executives (CFOs, General Counsel, CMOs, HR Heads, etc.) at mid-sized companies (Dunkin Brands, IMAX Corporation, Crocs, Qatar Airways, etc.) to generate new business revenue
. Sales Executives are expected to build rapport with senior level executives, advise them on best practice business solutions and manage the sales cycle from start to close. A key part of the consultative sales process includes engaging executives on CEB’s unique business model and the value that our products bring to their firms. Sales Executives participate in ongoing cutting-edge sales and product training specially designed to improve sales skills and foster overall professional development and career growth.
By interacting with the highest level of decision makers at some of the world’s most renowned companies, this role provides a unique opportunity to learn and apply executive level thinking to problem solving. What are the Key Responsibilities?
Manage a complete sales process with senior-most executives within an assigned function
Meet revenue goals by closing new membership accounts
Create lead-generation campaigns and utilize virtual sales techniques (cold-calling, e-mailing, etc.) to prospect and build new business within an assigned function
Gather business intelligence on prospective companies to identify and qualify new sales opportunities
Articulate CEB’s member-based business model and product value proposition to prospective members
Assist in product development efforts
What are the Role Qualifications?
Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a business to business (B2B) environment
Bachelors Degree required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Exceptional ability to establish credibility with senior-level executives
