Can you demonstrate and sell these solutions to the industry that you are part of?


Create lasting relationships with customers in the restaurant industry as the key to developing trust and maximizing revenue opportunities. Understand operator’s challenges, demonstrate and articulate meaningful solutions that impact the bottom line of each restaurant. Prepare detailed proposals of those solutions that include hardware, software, and services. Work with other team members in Implementation and Customer Support to deliver the vision of the customer’s requirements. Manage your sales pipeline in the company CRM system. Prepare sales reports showing opportunities, successes and challenges in your territory. Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition. Extensive local and some domestic travel is expected. Due to the nature of this position, employee may be subject to extensive background checks (including fingerprinting) by MICROS customers and/or vendors as a condition to conduct business on their premises. Other duties may be assigned. This job has no supervisory responsibilities, but may provide feedback regarding the performance of other employees who have contact with their accounts.


Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 1 year related restaurant industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Operational experience in the hospitality industry is strongly preferred. Strong consultative selling, listening, and writing skills. Ability to understand client needs and demonstrate the impact & value/ROI of products and services. Comprehensive knowledge of how products and services can positively impact organizations operations. Ability to provide dynamic product demonstrations. Ability to learn technical aspects of the products. Relationship-building skills: Capable of building and perpetuating profitable business partnerships and relationships, which promote long-term success. Working knowledge of contact management systems; spreadsheet software and word processing software. . Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and have the ability and desire to travel locally 90% of the time, with occasional out of town travel. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and/or stand and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
