This position is responsible for Consumer Field Sales, Consumer and Commercial Inside Sales activity of Horizon BCBSNJ and / or its subsidiaries products and services that contribute to the overall profitability of the company. This position develops new prospects and establishes relationships with existing customers to produce new sales.1.Facilitates the enrollment process for new groups and/or individuals.
2.Develops contacts to produce sales.
3.Completes internal management reports as required.
4.Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times, both internally and externally.
5.Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the laws, regulations and policies that pertain to the organizational unit's business and conforms with these laws, regulations and policies.
6.Performs other duties as assigned.

Personal and professional attributes that are critical to successful performance for Individual Contributors:
1. Prefers a bachelors degree in marketing, communications or business management from an accredited college or university.
2. Requires two to four years telephone sales or service experience, preferably in a health insurance environment
Additional licensing, certifications, registrations:
Requires a valid NJ drivers license (Consumer Field Sales).
Requires a current / valid Health Insurance License.
