The Sales Executive involves selling conference sponsorships, exhibit tables, and program advertising. Sponsorships are “big ticket ” items in the range of $3,000 – $20,000+, which require developing and maintaining long-term relationships. The candidate should excel at new business development and business research, while possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, combined with the high-level of professionalism necessary to succeed in a fast-paced, exciting industry. The candidate will work in a rapidly-growing company, including daily interaction with the CEO and COO to identify targets, move opportunites forward, and close sales.

Compensation is weighted heavily towards performance-based commission, with the opportunity to earn more than $120k per year. Primary Responsibilities Include: Selling event sponsorships on our high-level conferences Ideal Candidate: You should have experience selling conference sponsorships or industry advertising that may require working with multiple people on the client ’s end, usually a marketing manager and a principal decision maker. We ’re looking for a minimum of 4 years experience working in a similar capacity. Experience with commercial real estate, finance, and/or legal industries is a big plus.

An existing database of client contacts in these industries is an even bigger plus. Strong skills and discipline working with CRM tools like Salesforce are necessary, as well as skills reporting upon your sales pipeline. The ability to learn about an industry quickly and use that knowledge during sales calls is essential to success in this position.
