The SAVVIS Inside Sales Representative is accountable for prospecting/selling small to mid-size companies within geographic regions.
Prospecting to identify new sales opportunities
Qualifying and making presentations to potential customers
Proposing and closing opportunities for SAVVIS solutions
Set and manage customer expectations throughout the lifecycle of the account
Maintain the highest levels of personal and professional behavior in the work place.
Achieve or exceed monthly revenue targets.
Ensure and maintain minimum funnel goals are met or exceeded.
Generate $5 of opportunity for every $1 dollar of quota
Manage the CRM tool and provide weekly feedback on prospects and opportunities
Develop account profiles/plans for targeted companies.
Identify and capture revenue opportunities for SAVVIS services.
Independently establish and grow new client base.
Communicate effectively with peers, superiors and other SAVVIS personnel.
Identify, understand and solve any obstacles or objections to the successful sale of SAVVIS services.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in selling to C-level executives and senior management in small to mid-size companies.
Proficient use of PC hardware and software, specifically:
Proficient use of internet for communication and research
Demonstrated success in applying consultative selling techniques to opportunities
Proven and verifiable track record in exceeding sales quotas
Excellent communication skills.
High energy and drive.
Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships
Advanced knowledge of SAVVIS offerings, products and services. Demonstrated experience selling a combination of the following a strong plus:
Existing industry relationships
Industry knowledge in most of the following verticals is desired:
Media and Entertainment
Existing C-level contacts in assigned territory market a plus.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Computer Science or IT related degree a plus
