Sales IT Customer Data Management organization is committed to delivering outstanding business value to our customers through innovation, operational excellence, and teamwork. We currently have an opening for a SAP Functional and Technical Analyst to make significant contributions in the solution areas around the use of customer data across the enterprise.
As a member of this global IT team, you will work in a highly dynamic, fast changing and fluid work environment, working across multiple time zones. You will contribute technical and business knowledge expertise to design, develop, and implement integrated IT / business solutions focused primarily around the SAP suite of applications and the linkage to MDCP. Effectively work across organizations to drive appropriate business/IT solutions; view alternatives from an end-to-end processing perspective and understand the broader implications of technical and business related choices. Work in a self-directed environment where strong teamwork, individual initiatives and accountability are highly valued.
As a functional and technical analyst, you will have the following responsibilities:
Lead and participate in program/projects and contribute to the technical and functional design, development and implementation of IT solutions related to the use of customer data in Finance, Order Management and supply chain processes
Analyze the functional requirements and translate into efficient technical solutions that meet those requirements following documented technical development standards and best practices
Collaborate across businesses and IT to ensure that technical design meets the business requirements and IT strategy on processes and standards
Ensure that the application design aligns with corporate standards, IT application and technology roadmap in support of the end-state vision
Analyze business requirements and configure SAP systems to meet the overall design
Work with functional architect and / or functional designer to ensure that technical design meets the overall architecture for the solution
Participate in project architecture review to ensure the design meets the overall program / project requirements
Actively participate in team activities including information validation and facilitation of team decision making process
Follow project management methodologies and ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables
Work without day-to-day supervision
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
Typically a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Business Management or related field is a minimum or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Several years of experience in with SAP ABAP programming language
Sound understanding of SAP extension technologies
Very good understanding of standard SAP Integration techniques (like ALE, RFC,...)
Strong functional and technical knowledge (Hands On) of SAP FI module setup and customization.
SAP Customer Setup experience
Master Data experience with Customer
Strong experience in SAP - Configuration and development experience. Substantial exposure to interfaces user exits and interface development. Exposure to SD & FI essential.
Performing data translation to map/load data into and out of SAP, performing validation routines and reviewing that all data was appropriately loaded into SAP.
Understanding of project management methodologies
Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills
Excellent in analyzing business requirements and translating into IT design
Experience in development life cycle, release management and quality management process
Demonstrated technical leadership skills
Work effectively in geographically dispersed teams
Experience in business operations and process engineering
Experience with Java
