The Sales Implementation Manager will drive and achieve health plan enrollment/growth goals by managing the new home implementation process and ongoing business relationships for the Medicare and/or Medicaid product lines within an assigned territory and consistent with state and federal regulations for both programs.

Responsibilities: Manage and execute on implementation plans for each new contracted facility. Educate facility about the Medicare product lines; engage clinical in education of facility; develop and execute on initial marketing plan and serve as liaison to sales department enabling smooth transition between facility and assigned Sales Account Manager.

Will work to support enrollment of Medicare eligible consumers into the UnitedHealth Care Nursing Home Plan; and managing UnitedHealth Care's engagement with stakeholders and organizations focused on services to a shared client base.

Works under the direction of the Sales Market Leader to drive and achieve sales goals through effective implementation and ongoing account management.

Contributes to the development of a viable sales plan for the assigned territory. Manages SNF accounts using various account management strategies to ultimately strengthen relationship to generate leads on a consistent and compliant basis.

Serves as a subject matter expert on UnitedHealth Care Nursing Home plans and all UnitedHealth Care Medicare products and maintains all current product certifications and appropriate licensure.

Serves as a liaison for the Health Plan in a designated territory via (group) or individual education opportunities.

During implementation assist in developing new forums to educate eligible consumers about UnitedHealth Care's products. Conducts presentations, sales activities and other informational events in accordance with current approved communication and marketing programs and state/federal regulations. Participates in planning and implementation of outreach strategies and programs in conjunction with clinical and Provider Relations staff.

Travels throughout assigned territory to provide education about UnitedHealth Care to promote enrollment. Responsible for member enrollment and achieving a defined minimum number of sales in newly launched homes. Executes basic administrative duties as defined by the Sales Lead, including detailed management of appropriate reporting/database systems, funnel management, customer information, territory planning, etc.

Maintains a working knowledge of plan benefit, program changes and industry insights. Ensures compliance and quality of sales process components, adhering to all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements and UnitedHealth Care's Policies and Procedures Performs other job related instructions as requested, with reasonable accommodation.

-4+ years in the health care industry with preferred experience in Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, Health Insurance or long term care industry.
-Prior experience in a sales/marketing or customer facing role required.

Technical Skills:

-High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
-Lead Management database experience

Knowledge & Skills:
-Strong sales/negotiation skills required
-Very proficient oral and written communication skills
-Solid self management and time management skills
-At least 3 years of Account Management or Project Management required
-Able to work effectively independently and within a team environment
-Proper business phone etiquette
-Customer service experience

-Ability to obtain and maintain license to sell health insurance within 90 days of hire
-Must be able to work some evenings and weekends
