The Institutional Sales Logistics team will strive to provide exceptional support to the sales force in a hybrid of areas by providing the tools and support necessary to help the sales force successfully reach our annual goals. The team's primary objectives will focused on developing and managing all aspects of sales contests, advisor recognition and promotions, sales logistics for TDAI Conferences/Events and Tradeshows, all aspects of the Advisor Operations Workshop Series, Weekly Sales Communications. The team will liaison with Marketing, Events, Institutional Strategy, Internal Communication, Institutional Oversight, Training, Institutional Brokerage Services and Product Development teams as well as other areas of the company as needed. The team will effectively initiate, drive, collaborate and participate in implementation of various projects and business offerings with Institutional Sales groups and other departments to provide improved efficiencies and effectiveness of the sales process and overall advisor experience.
Provide support to the sales force in a hybrid of areas by providing the tools and support necessary to help the sales force successfully reach our annual goals.
Participate effectively in a cross-functional environment and foster collaboration with business partners (Sales Assistants, Sales Coordinators, Events, Marketing).
Assist with certain aspects of most team projects.
Provide recommendations and drive implementation for process improvement in regards to current and future policies, procedures and processes relative to the Sales team's efforts.
Tradeshows - Assist with research and creating annual Tradeshow Calendar and manage flow of communication to sales VPs attending regional tradeshows. Assist with development and maintenance of annual Tradeshow Calendar. Manage registration tracking and pre-conference registration research, raffle preparation for large shows. Compile post-conference sales feedback. Handle marketing for small/mid-size tradeshows.
TDAI Conferences/Events (National, Elite, Fall Regional, Signature Events) ' Manage the daily registration process and sales communications. Assist in coordinating various efforts for our larger TDAI conferences (golf, dinner and meetings, VIP offerings, etc.). Handle marketing for regional events (create invitations and manage eBlasts). Compile post-conference sales feedback. Coordinate registration updates for selective regional events.
Advisor Operations Workshops ' Manage the daily registration process, printing of attendee workbooks and other aspects of the offering.
T3 Conference, IMCA Annual Conference and Advisor Holiday Parties ' Manage all aspects of dinner events.
Cash Credit Promotions ' Manage all aspects of current offering.
Industry Award Publications ' Conduct research of recipients, coordinate with Marketing team, manage sales communications and action items.
Asset Milestone Awards and Advisor Direct Milestone Awards ' Manage all aspects of current offerings.
Holiday Gifts and Cards ' Coordination of lists with Sales Assistants.
NAPFA Money Bus and Cubs Games - Manage sales involvement.
Sales Contests ' Develop creative for contest rules, print/mail postcards to participants and senior management team, monitoring and report on results, manage payouts.
Weekly Sales Communications ' Draft weekly communications in collaboration with other Institutional departments.
Salesforce Updates ' Involved in providing input and updating new fields and data clean up (contests, list management, return mail/email, Advisor Panel, Advisor Direct, BAB Mentor Counsel, TDATC prospects on Institutional Salesforce); Involved in providing sales training.
Universe Score ' Coordinated reporting to improve prospect planning.
Participate in creating procedures and checklists for Sales Logistics related responsibilities.
Will participate in the development of an Employee On-boarding process.
Training - Lead efforts with Sales Assistants and Sales Coordinators as action items relate to team responsibilities and provide training as needed.
Take on marketing efforts from Sales Specialist Team.
4 year college degree
Series 7 preferred
Marketing, Sales Support, Event Planning, Financial Services experience
Minimum 1 - 3 years professional work experience
Exceptional attention to detail and accountability for the quality and timeliness of work produced
Strong technology skills in use of CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
