The Sales Logistics Internship is designed to provide you with an intensive experience with direct exposure to TD Ameritrade's leaders and business strategy. You'll take away from this program extensive knowledge about our firm and industry, you'll have fun while learning various aspects of our operations and refining your skill sets, and you'll contribute valuable insights to support strategic business decisions.
Identify trends and outliers embedded in business results and recommend follow-up actions, executing as needed
Derive business intelligence from internal and external sources
Assist with optimization of recurring business analytics
Interact with senior managers across the organization and top executives
Focus on the most important issues through advanced analytics, measurement of business success, identification of strategic opportunities, and production of key reports
Analyze and synthesize information
Specific tasks can vary depending on the scope of projects
3.0 minimum GPA
Some coursework in business, economics, statistics, engineering, or management
Basic knowledge of the financial services industry & interest in the wealth management segment of financial services
Attention to and appreciation for detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to include Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
High level of self-motivation and intellectual curiosity
Advanced analytical abilities in interpreting large quantities of data and structuring follow-up analyses
Capacity to multitask; strong project management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work on multi-functional teams & interact with all levels in organization,
Ability to troubleshoot data issues directly with technology resources is a plus
US citizenship and/or work authorization
Gain an understanding of the wealth management space
Manage multiple priorities simultaneously within a fast-paced environment
Improve strategic thinking by partnering with team members to construct quantitative and qualitative analyses to produce answers to business questions
Expand proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and proprietary tools in order to build efficient, automated data analyses to maximize time available for strategic thinking
Learn techniques for packaging data & how to communicate effectively with senior management and influence others
