As a new customer acquisitions manager working for the Online Partnerships Group team, you are a senior business leader on the Online Partnerships team helping us grow the North America Display business from new, large partners. You will lead and coach a high-performing sales team located in New York, that uses consultative sales skills to understand our publishers' needs and share the magic of Google’s products with our partners. You will help your team deliver on ambitious targets, by leading from the front, modeling Google values, and developing people. You will help close business by rolling up your sleeves to partner directly with clients when needed. You will also work with global sales managers to set and execute on strategic objectives for the global business.
Lead a high-performing team of sales executives responsible for selling in Google’s monetization (Adsense/ AdExchange/ Mobile) and platform (Doubleclick) services, resulting in happy/motivated employees and high business growth
Develop and operationalize a strategic blueprint for publisher acquisition across Google’s publisher facing products (AdSense, Ad Exchange, DFP, Mobile, Video).
Drive quarterly revenue and volume sales targets. Build relationships effectively across Sales, Product Management, Marketing and other teams and support cross-functional initiatives to grow the business.
Secure new online publishers by uncovering their business needs and presenting them our online monetization solutions. Develop sales pitch strategies that optimize the market potential.
Coach and develop a team of high performing sales professionals
BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
5 years experience in sales and business development
6 years of relevant experience in digital advertising sales.
3 years experience managing teams of sales/ business development or operations professionals.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and leadership skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinker. Excellent communication, presentation skills, and ability to influence without formal authority.
Proven people leadership experience and demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a high performing team.
Experience managing and optimizing people operations to improve sales efficiency/ effectiveness.
Strong knowledge of online advertising business with direct sales and business-development experience.
