We are looking for a candidate to help lead our F&B sales vertical. Someone needed with excellent experience in supply chain logistics from initial product raw inputs through to finished products. Knowledge of typical supply planning and execution and raw materials forecasting challenges. Someone familiar with an entities corporate oversight needs to mitigate risk within the supply chain through financial trading/hedging. This individual will work with our dynamic sales and marketing team in our New York office. This position is responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities in North America.
Experience in many/all the following areas of F&B desired: Baking, Brewing, Soft Drinks, Snacks, Nuts Dairy, Animal Protein, Juice, Cereals, Coffee, Tea, Cocoa, Spices, Natural & Artificial Sweeteners, packaging and bottlingPrimary responsibility will be to sell our Enterprise-wide Trading and Risk Management Transactional Management Platform to Top and Mid Tier F&B Entries. A proven track record developing new business specifically in F&B industry and strong “rolodex”
An excellent understanding and experience with selling trading, risk management and supply chain solutions to the F&B market. Content knowledge would be a strong plus.
Solid understanding of the analytical processes used to manage procurement and risk within F&B corporations.
Must be a highly motivated, self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive under pressure and work well with others within our organization as well as externally with prospective clients.
Ability to interface with all different levels and roles of responsibility within an organization.
Must possess excellent presentation skills along with the ability to take the initiative in developing sales opportunities.
Skilled at constructing an RFP response and familiar with working through a 3-6 month sales process.
5-7 years of experience in F&B trading, risk and supply chain management.
