Our client, one of the largest home remodeling companies in the country, has an immediate need for a skilled Sales Manager to run their sales branch in Silver Spring, MD. In business for over 15 years, this company is a strong company with a national name and a long history of success in the remodeling industry. With over 500 employees, there is a ton of room for growth and development in this company. As a Sales Manager with this company, you will be responsible for full sales growth of this organization in the Silver Spring, MD area.
Primary duties in this role will include recruiting and hiring skilled in-home sales professionals. You will be responsible for training and developing these new hires. You will also be accountable for an outside event marketing manager and their staff. This will include coaching and developing their skills and ensuring that their events, staff and leads are being maximized.
Additionally, you will have full accountability for the success of your office. This will include daily meetings with your sales team, distributing leads, tracking performance, and running leads with newer sales reps to lead by example. It will also include basic general administration of the branch in terms of making sure the office is running efficiently, resolving pending sales and responding immediately to customer issues. Requirements for this position include strong success in an in-home, business to consumer sales role.
Previous management experience is a plus, but a strong in-home, one call close, sales professional looking to move into a management role will be considered. A background in the home remodeling industry is a plus. Total compensation will consist of a strong base salary, a personal commission plan, and overrides on total office production. The total compensation for a successful Sales Manager will be in the $90k-$110k range.
