Responsibilities: Lead, direct and coordinate the sales and marketing function of a location. Assist the branch manager with any and all facets of branch operations. May act as lead in branch manager's absence. Assists with branch PPR process, key budget and annual branch assessment/business plans. Maximizes sales, profit and market penetration with all key customers through regular sales calls. Leads and directs efforts involved with target accounts, account development, special program selling, product penetration, product changes, market share, sales and margin analysis, salesperson scheduling and accountability, working relationships between sales department and other departments.
Basic Qualifications: Requires college degree in related field or equivalent sales and marketing experience with a minimum of ten years in sales in the building materials industry. Extensive experience in commodity and non-commodity products, inside and outside sales and supervision. Requires use of spreadsheet applications (Excel), Word and Agility. Requires demonstrated leadership skills, strong sales aptitude and be a problem solver. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including sales presentation and communication skills. Must be self-directed and motivated and be willing to accept responsibility for results.
