Position Summary
This position will report to the Vice President, Sales and will be responsible for putting action to the business plan; achieving account profitability and sales targets; serving as the primary account contact and providing account leadership. The individual who will excel in this position will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, strategic thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement account specific goals
  • Set the strategy and direction for account with the goal of increasing sales and market share
  • Build account relationships
  • Conduct regular reviews of business performance and promotional strategies
  • Optimize shelf space that allows products to be merchandised competitively and consistently
  • Forecast, budget and track account revenues and cost
  • Management of account's spending to optimize sales
  • Work with VP of Sales to define performance objectives
Job Qualifications
  • 10+ years consumer products sales experience
  • 5+ years in Toy Sales
  • Big Box experience is beneficial
  • Candidate should possess strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated skills in achieving sales, profitability, and budget goals
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • High-energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate cross functionally within company and the customer
  • Demonstrated commitment to building strong business relationships with customer
Educational Requirements
  • BS/BA Degree
