The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Sales Manager is also responsible for driving revenue by creating relationships within the market. This position is responsible for learning and communicating the various policies and procedures required of the Marketing and Sales Department.

Provides superior guest service, positively affects interactions with guests, vendors and Employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests or vendors in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.

Responsible for developing and maintaining budget, able to allocate resources to ensure optimal guest service experiences while maintaining cost controls.

Responsible for the performance of group planning and group sales.

Accountable for ensuring the accurate tracking of sales efforts and productivity.

Responsible for driving new business to the casino as it relates to bus groups and the market.

Responsible for handling in-bound and out-bound sales requests, including telemarketing, letter writing and on floor interactions about available services communicating with potential clients regarding product, pricing, and availability thereof.

Provides pricing and complimentaries to customers based on the policies and procedures and has the ability to utilize independent judgment to adjust pricing and complimentaries in order to secure business.

Completes all duties, paperwork and reports in a timely manner.

Develops measurable goals with Marketing Director and works diligently to fulfill those goals,

Creating and tracking department reports and activities with Director of Marketing.

Meet with department directors as necessary.

Responsible for development of sales staff, interviews, hires and evaluates, disciplines and terminates as necessary.

Oversees and assure high standards of guest service by maintaining constant awareness for the entire property.

Complete all company-required training within designated time frames.

Provides complimentary amenities to players for food and beverages, hotel stays, gift shops, etc. based on the policies and procedures and has the ability to utilize independent judgment in issuing discretionary comps to develop players

Performs other duties as assigned
