NVR Mortgage is seeking a highly self-motivated individual to assume the position of Sales Manager in our Beltsville, MD office. The Sales Manager is responsible for direct supervision of all Loan Officers within their respective mortgage branch. They are also responsible for training, regular communications with Builder Division personnel, managing Corporate and Branch objectives associated with initial loan applications, customer service, capture rate and sale to application. Sales Manager must maintain his/her State licensing requirements for each State in which loans are originated.

Conduct comprehensive training to prepare Associate LOs for a Demo Day presentation as well as follow up training through the process of building a pipeline of loans.
Provide any necessary training to Loan Officers to ensure they understand how to achieve each Corporate or Branch objective assigned to them per their annual Loan Officer Compensation agreements.
Conduct training sessions with related Division SMRs, both in group and one on one classes in Division, Branch or Model Homes.
Conduct Annual Performance Appraisal reviews with each Loan Officer pertaining to a Loan Officer’s Key Result Areas.
Ensures all Loan Officers remain current with all state and federal licensing requirements.
Manage, monitor and follow up on the weekly sales reports and new origination reports to ensure the Annual Branch Plan for capture rate and sale to application metric is achieved.
Visit associated Model Home communities to ensure the NVR Sales Representatives possess the ability to promote NVRM loan programs to every new prospect and buyer.
Problem solve loan issues with either/and/or Ops Manager, processors, Loan Officer, current buyers and homebuilder division to ensure and maintain the desired annual Branch plan capture rate
Review customer service survey data to ensure Loan Officers are achieving the desired corporate objectives and results.
Attend weekly Sales Meetings at associated homebuilder divisions. Prepare presentations on new loan programs, financing helpful hints, and industry updates.
Be available for all homebuilder division staff to answer questions pertaining to NVRM loan programs, problem solving loan issues and individual loan status.
Hold Loan Officers accountable to all NVR performance standards and metrics, including timely applications, capture rate, customer service, loan quality, builder relationships and pipeline management.
Develop and maintain business relationships with local mortgage brokers to maximize capture rate and ensure a broad portfolio of product to help builder divisions exceed sales plan.
Conduct loan quality spot reviews on new loan originations.
Sales Managers need to be fully informed on all audit related procedures as they pertain to loan application quality and compliance requirements. Preferred qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated, successful origination experience in conventional and government loans, with at least 2 years experience working with a homebuilding mortgage company
Strong knowledge of FNMA, FHA, and VA and State housing loans
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed designated sales goals
At least 2 years experience managing Loan Officers
Undergraduate degree (preferred)
Excellent leadership skills
Strong problem solving and communication
Proficient with Microsoft applications
