Full-time position (N. Austin): We are a dynamic, fast-paced leader in the health and nutritional products industry (nationwide) seeking a Sales/Marketing Director to head our nutrition sales team (~20 people).

We are looking for a super-star Sales/Marketing Director – detail-oriented and polished professional with solid previous experience in sales and marketing. We are looking for someone with a track record of consistently delighting customers by delivering products and on-time service. You are passionate about nutrition and healthy lifestyles.

This role is very hands-on. You'll supervise daily sales activities of our sales staff, conduct ongoing weekly sales meetings, help coordinate/approve staff schedules for sales campaigns, nutrition seminars, nutrition store/office visits in the field, and assist in procuring university credit for nutrition courses. You'll be the “go-to” person for long-term as well as daily strategic sales activities and processes. You'll need to be experienced and comfortable interacting with members of our sales team, a wizard at setting, meeting and exceeding customer expectations, and adept at helping our sales staff deliver maximum value to our customers from the products we offer.

We'll ensure that you are well-equipped with the technical, creative, and strategic resources you need to help our sales staff dazzle our customers.

In a nutshell, the Sales/Marketing Director is responsible for the overall management and leadership for both sales divisions (retail and wholesale/practitioner accounts). You will ideally have previous experience in both sales and marketing with a stellar record.

Duties include:
Oversee the implementation of our current sales and marketing plan as well as develop new strategic marketing plans as needs or opportunities arise
Analyze sales calls and statistics to maximize sales staff calls and in-field visits
Oversee training of new hires of sales staff
Develop strategies to improve business relations with all company customers
Oversee our wholesale sales staff in marketing efforts to practitioners and nutrition stores
Help conceptualize and track media materials needed for seminars, company events and company websites
Analyze business growth potential/where to focus efforts next in various areas


  • Hands-on demand generation, direct marketing, or email marketing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3 to 5 years in sales or marketing services
  • Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to manage multiple customers/priorities
  • Ideally, a master’s degree in business or a nutrition-related field
