Job Description

We are seeking a talented, well-organized, results-driven Sales Executiveto execute revenue growth of subscription-data products to strategic wireless carriers, infra-structure companies and device manufacturers. This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role and a key member of our Sales Team. A passionate can-do attitude with exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate while acting as a thought leader will serve you well at RootMetrics. K ey Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic business relationships with critical C-level customer contacts
  • Grow client revenues from new-sales of subscription-based data products to wireless carriers, infra-structure companies and device OEMs
  • Achieve aggressive revenue objectives from the sale s of Root products and services
  • Partner with Root Account Management, Operations, Product and Sales Engineering teams to achieve success
  • Work effectively with various client cross functional teams, leveraging business relationships across (engineering, product, marketing, and executive) groups
  • Interpret & communicate client’s business and product needs to appropriate internal Root teams
  • Based in our Bellevue headquarters, this position will require national travel of approximately 30%
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance or other related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years major account, enterprise customer sales experience required
  • Experience selling data driven products, diagnostic or market research directly to wireless/technology clients strongly preferred
  • Passion for technology, a working knowledge of statistical analysis, RF engineering, and a strong understanding of wireless telecommunications, including the objectives of network performance, consumer experience and marketing teams
  • Exceptional listening, written, presentation and oral-communication skills
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving annual sales quota (experience achieving seven figures preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop key-client relationships from department manager through executive levels
  • Ethical, tenacious, well organized and accountable
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with Root internal teams
  • SalesForce experience and evidenced ability to concurrently manage multiple sales initiatives and track to multiple client deadlines
  • Comfortable with responsibility for quarterly & annual hard-revenue sales commitments
  • Interpersonal skills consistent with an entrepreneurial, small-company environment where teamwork is of the utmost importance
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • MUST be an energetic contributor, passionate about Root and devoted to product knowledge.
