The Sales Manager will provide the general sales leadership for the Maryland Market. Plans and directs activities of the Market to achieve top-line revenue objectives, generate profitable organic business growth, enhance and augment the suite of products and services offered, build and strengthen long-term, positive business relationships, drive continuous improvement in sales capacity and sales conversion rates, and continuously enhance the value of iCore Network’s products and services in the view of customers, using a pro-active, process-driven, metrically-evaluated approach.
The Sales Manager is required to establish strategic sales objectives and ensure goals for the business are met and to be an effective motivator in imparting the desire to achieve our goals of the Maryland Market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Formulates strategic operating plans for department.
Formulates policies, procedures, and processes to achieve optimum value streaming.
Devises and implements strategies to achieve maximized individual sales representative capacity and continuous improvement in sales conversion rate.
Establishes and monitors performance metrics; takes appropriate, timely corrective action to achieve operating plan and company objectives.
Recruits, trains, deploys, and coaches staff for optimal performance.
Provides executive management and peer group with timely information regarding sales performance, key issues, and trends
Communicates policies and practices to other departments that interact with the Sales Department.
Provides relevant information to employees regarding sales performance and overall performance of the business.
Assists in preparing and setting departmental budget controls
Conducts and reviews employee performance appraisals.
Challenge the organization to look at new ways to adapt and grow our VoPI Telecommunications business and Cloud Services which will enhance the overall efficiency of the Company and support the creation of a progressive organization.
Develop, monitor and make strategy recommendations to the Director of sales and Executive Vice President of Sales regarding Sales Programs. Ensure that we are successfully researching our current & future market segmentation, and that compensation plans ensure that plans are appropriately driving results in new business, complex products and new offers as they go to market.
Participate as a key member of our senior management leadership to ensure regional concerns are considered in business decisions and strategic planning.

Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the CEO or Executive Vice President of Sales, and Director of Sales.
2+ years of Sales Leadership Experience.
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university with coursework in business disciplines
Must possess the innate ability to achieve measurable results.
Strong business acumen: able to align the people strategy with the business strategy and have a long-term impact on the success of the Company.
