We are continually growing and have a new opportunity for a highly professional, results-driven Sales Operations Manager to accomplish the following:
  • Lead and support multiple operational, analytical and informational functions for the Sales Operations Department as well as other internal departments within Millennium
  • Develop and Manage an in-house Sales Operations Analyst Team including functions such as; assigning and prioritizing resources for the design, production and dissemination of sales and marketing reporting for all necessary levels of the organization (includes on-time delivery of monthly sales reports, contest standings and executive level marketing and sales reports)
  • Implement effective customer targeting and reporting tools to support on-going sales objectives and assist management team in evaluating sales productivity and performance
  • Maintain customer and prospect segmentation and targeting through analysis and 3 rd party data augmentation
  • Oversee effectiveness of customer-centric sales programs
  • Facilitate the process for any adjustments to sales force alignments and Sales Force Sizing & Structure needs, recognizing ROI and infrastructural costs
  • Develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate the development of a Sales Force Automation (CRM) system and technology for the sales force, including requirements, planning, user acceptance testing and implementation
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with field sales teams and educate the field sales organization on company initiatives as they pertain to Sales Operations
  • Works closely with Accounting on the employee expense reimbursement system(s), which includes all associated reporting needs, training and system modifications - specific to the sales team
  • Develop strong partnerships with Millennium’s supporting departments to fully understand business processes, analysis and solutions design

Required Skills
  • Proficient in working with external data sources from vendors such as IMS Health and Symphony Health for targeting and market assessment purposes
  • Working knowledge of data warehouse, access and SQL
  • Experience working with an expense reporting system such as Concur, from a data mining perspective
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities; value strong customer orientation; strong team player and ensure commitment to company values

Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the life science or biotechnology field
  • 1-2 years of managing direct reports
  • 2+ years in a Sales Operations role
  • 2-4 years in a Sales Analyst role
