General Summary:
Responsible for developing, implementing and reporting key performance indicators and metrics for sales and marketing efforts. Responsible for supporting and working with executives and users across the entire organization in driving the adoption of the mission and vision of the Senior Vice President to meet the revenue and financial goals of the Business Unit. Responsible for ensuring the development, implementation and measurement of all sales operations functions within the Business Services Sales organization. Direct responsibility will also include a business consulting role, working closely with diverse user groups including Senior Management, Sales & Business Unit management, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to deliver timely, accurate and actionable business information. The candidate must be a strong, passionate, and proactive visionary leader, extremely well organized, detail-oriented and quality-minded and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist the SVP with sales activities to support the development of business opportunities and complex customer solutions to actively contribute to the sales approach for securing business.

• Work closely with SVP and all functional leaders to assure successful adoption of new products, policies, and promotions.

• Impacts business strategy through creation, development and implementation of pipeline metrics for the corporation.

• Drives the analysis of measures in relation to progress against targets to assess needs for providing support and reinforcement. Supports and directs collaboration of business development processes with those managing the processes including respective lines of business.

• Directs sales operations including account planning, pipeline management, and productivity analysis in accordance with corporate policy and objectives; plans, directs, and controls activities to continually reflect customer trends, market fluctuations, and changes in business practices/technology.

• Develop and execute on strategy and operating plans for the business.

• Staff responsibilities include tracking sales results versus individual objectives, maintaining and reporting sales compensation plans, annual and monthly revenue tracking and reporting, ad hoc reporting.

• Continuously improve the Company's sales process. Establish a deep understanding of the sales management process, focusing on best demonstrated practices.

• Measure the team's sales and marketing activities through reporting. Identify key lead management and sales metrics and define benchmarks for growth, and implement best practices.

• Work directly with XO University to ensure that all Business Unit learning activities support the strategic framework of the Business Unit and provide a development environment where all employees are capable of representing XO properly to our prospects. This includes products, processes, company history, company mission, vision, and strategic direction.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Licensures:
Relevant Work Experience:
10-15 years of experience in sales operations; 7-10 years of management experience and preferably 3+ years of outstanding results in leading sales organizations in a telephony, network, software and/or services environment selling to mid-market and enterprise companies
