The sales operations manager is responsible for providing daily guidance and direction for the sales representatives and account managers with offices at the Gainesville office.

Core Responsibilities Coaching and Mentoring
  • Develops clear goals for staff each year that support company goals and objectives
  • Develops a coaching strategy for staff to achieve or exceed goals and objectives
    • Regularly reviews performance with staff
    • Helps staff focus on what is within their control to achieve success
    • Celebrates success
    • Quickly addresses performance issues in a constructive manner
    • Creates positive accountability and follow-up to achieve goals
Departmental Operational leadership
  • Develops clear vision, goals, and objectives for the department that support company goals and objectives
    • Forecast sales goals
    • Create effective communication strategies between sales and other departments in Mansfield Oil
  • Develops a clear strategy to keep team members focused on high performance throughout the year
    • Lead weekly departmental meetings
    • Complete storm report and distribute to all relevant parties o Regularly review pipeline with sales team members
  • Ensure that sales representatives and account managers are trained on essential sales skills
  • Implements a strategy for departments to examine and improve key processes used every day
  • Develops clear departmental strategy to achieve financial goals
  • Coordinates team member scheduling and staffing to ensure excellent customer service and response is achieved
  • Provides a regular feedback strategy for the department to evaluate results and make improvements
    • Complete storm report and distribute to all relevant parties
    • Regularly review pipeline with sales team members
  • Reporting of results to executive team and the company in general
  • Coordinate with other departments in Mansfield Oil to resolve issues that impact sales performance

Requirements Essential
  • Excellent coaching and employee development skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to process information from multiple sources and create innovative solutions and strategies
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with success
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Advanced degree desired
