The Sales Operations Specialist position is the perfect starting point for a career at Zensar. The successful candidate will provide all facets of order processing and invoicing for the sales support team in a fast paced, high-tech, reseller environment. Your main tasks will be creating purchase orders, coordinating delivery, and timely invoicing. The successful candidate will also maintain relationships with counterparts at various manufacturers & distributors, proactively keep accurate pricing models for all vendors and distributors, and maintain the parts database within our accounting system.

Responsibilities:
Processing sales orders

Creating and submitting accurate purchase orders to manufacturers and distributors.

Following up on orders to insure timely delivery while maintaining a “Just-In-Time” inventory.

Communicating back order / delivery issues to sales support

Coordinating deliveries with professional services group (when installation is required).

Recommending appropriate source based on availability, credit limit, best price, etc.

Working with other departments within Akibia to insure the elimination of roadblocks such as credit limitations, credit holds, etc.

Maintaining accurate pricing models

Timely acquisition of latest vendor price lists

Parts database administration - The accurate importation of SKUs into the accounting system’s parts database including proper classification for the purpose of revenue recognition and multi-state sales tax calculations

Creation and upkeep of vendor/product cross reference document

Invoicing in a timely fashion being mindful of month, quarter and year-end deadlines.

Maintaining relationships with distributors and manufacturers’ order entry contacts.

Entering new customers and vendors as necessary

Required Experience:
Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Math proficiency

Pro-active, strong work-ethic, customer-oriented, team player.

Strong attention to detail.

Proven collaboration skills (within and outside of the department)

Ability to solve problems while keeping the big picture in focus

Accurate and well organized even when under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while seeing them all through to completion.

Ability to comfortably interact with customers (internal and external) and vendors.

Pro-active, strong work-ethic, customer-oriented, team player.

Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains ERP experience is a plus

2-4 years of related experience preferred.
