Title: Sales Planner

Responsibilities

Manage sales requests for mobile ad inventory

Build comprehensive media plans based on a strong understanding of inventory and internal pricing guidelines using Excel and our inventory management system (Operative)

Assist with responses to Request for Proposal (RFPs) and other new business development initiatives.

Assist with RFP strategy sessions with Sales on select new business opportunities, recommending ideas and campaign strategies to meet client objectives and success metrics

Assist with managing inventory models to ensure maximization of revenue and increase sell-through rates.

Work closely with Sales Managers and Integrated Marketing to assemble relevant ad packages.

Work closely with Revenue Ops and Finance to maximize profitability

Qualifications

Candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in media on the content or agency side in a strategic/quantitative/analytical role.

Ability to review proposed media plans and devise creative solutions to meet advertisers pricing and targeting needs.

Must have solid analytical skills to build reports and identify trends for the benefit of Finance, Sales and senior management.

Strong proficiency with Excel formulas is essential (sumif, round) as well as data analysis (what if)

Proven ability to organize and manage projects within an unstructured environment.

Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.

Self-starter who is not afraid to take initiative and argue a point of view.

Extreme attention to detail is critical
