The Sales Rep is responsible for selling phone directory and online accounts face to face in our Illinois markets of Mattoon, Effingham, Taylorville, Litchfield, & Shellbyville. Overnight travel may be required to some of these markets. Representatives are responsible for servicing existing accounts as well as securing new business.
Thorough understanding of company products, services and sales techniques
The ability to work with other Departments to fulfill customer needs
Development of strategic account plans for existing customers
Ability to solicit and secure new business accounts
Print & online advertising experience preferred but will consider applicants with a minimum of 3 years sales experience in advertising or other business-to-business sales
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to analyze prospective customers print and online advertising needs
Must be results driven
Strong presentation and communication skills
2 years college preferred
Valid driver's license required. Must have clean DMV record and auto insurance coverage.
