SUMMARY

Champion Technologies has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative 4 in San Antonio, Texas. The Sales Representative 4 is the advanced or senior level sales position. The employee contacts assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell products/services focusing on personal sales targets. Responsibilities also include new business development, maintaining customer relationships and troubleshooting specific customer problems. He or she could be assigned special markets/complex product lines that require significant client-relationship skills. This is a seasoned sales professional with extensive product/service and market knowledge. Typical accounts would be challenging, complex and diverse. The employee may coach or train junior sales professionals and is expected to work independently with little or no guidance required.

JOB DUTIES
  • Responsible for account management activities and interactions and is a key participant in target accounts. Responsible for leading field surveys and technical audits, understands and utilizes all CTI technical and testing resources, comprehend, analyze, and able to write technical documents, ability to design comprehensive treatment applications.
  • Interviews customer to assess wants, needs, determines what concerns they have and develops alternatives to alleviate concerns. Facilitates discussions with customers. Responsible for troubleshooting and providing proactive solutions.
  • Responsible for coordinating RFPs by providing system and production information, analytical reports, mapping, treating rates, product recommendations, system data management.
  • Trains, mentors and provides guidance to sales team.
  • Assist with collection of oil and water samples, through utilizing proper sample techniques, through sample preservation, labeling, and documentation.
  • Maintains all safety and environmental practices and procedures.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Science, Technical, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or Business).
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MS Office Skills.
  • Ability to present complex ideas in a comprehensive way.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Demonstrates a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Effective problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
