Job Title: Sales Specialist

Reports to: Sales Specialist Lead

Location: Corporate Headquarters (Manhattan, KS)

Job Overview: The Sales Specialist provides administrative support to Sales Managers, Sales Representatives and Sales Associates through careful review of Request for Proposals, Quotations, Information and/or Qualifications (RFPs) and in preparation of proposal responses. The Sales Specialist will have an interest in how to extract, validate, interpret, and assimilate information from various sources in order to respond to RFPs in an accurate, timely manner. A Sales Specialist will be well organized, able to prioritize and adjust their workload to meet a variety of firm deadlines and derive personal satisfaction from routine duties, many of which are clerical in nature.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
• Provide administrative support to Sales Managers, Sales Representatives and Sales Associates
• Extract, validate, interpret and assimilate information from various sources to create an accurate response to RFPs
• Communicate clearly through both written and oral means
• Proofread for accuracy and completeness
• Bid list registration and management
• Assist Senior Sales Specialist with contracts and sales forms
• Template maintenance

Physical Requirements:
• Able to work at a computer and monitor for extended periods of time
• Able to lift at least 10 lbs. of weight
• Able to operate and use a personal computer

• Interest in providing solid support for a growing sales organization
• Ability to work in a structured environment and multitask many routine clerical duties
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Outlook
