The Software Strategic Services Specialist works with the software sales and operations teams to deliver license management services to key customers. Working through the defined Transition Process, the Specialist will help develop and deliver services associated with Microsoft Enterprise Agreements and other similar Volume Licensing programs, as well as broader Software Asset Management tasks. On an ongoing basis, the Specialist will support bids for new clients, develop reports for Quarterly Business Reviews and ad-hoc analyses as requested by clients.
The Senior Specialist Level works on problems of complex and diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of variable factors.
Exercises independent judgement in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
Works with managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. The Senior Specialist provides executives with the necessary assistance, guidance, and advice to ensure good practices in standard methodologies and processes.
Also provides leadership to lower level Sales Operations personnel, ensuring that fellow team members meet or exceed goals.
May assist with budget reports, assures timeline compliance, and develops implementation/delivery plans.
Requires a Bachelor's degree with technical or business emphasis and 8-10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Also requires an in-depth knowledge of company Sales Operations, good problem solving skills, organizational skills, and communication skills.
Microsoft MCP and SAM certifications
Other SAM and ITAM certifications preferred .
ITIL certification a plus.
