The selected candidate will lead, manage, and motivate the Direct Sales Representatives and represent KNOLOGY while seeking and securing new sources of recurring revenue through the sale of cable, telephone, and internet services in an outside sales environment.
Key Functions of This Role Will Include:
Ensures all assigned performance levels are maintained and assists in the development of procedures and training targeted to exceed these levels;
Develops and conducts training of sales team and other departments;
Coordinates and manages activities for residential accounts;
Negotiates with customers and third parties to gain contracts, easements, or resolve customer disputes;
Coordinates with other departments to ensure acceptable standards of service for customers;
Helps develop and supports marketing strategies;
Networks to build relationships that will enhance or support Company performance;
Prepares written and oral presentations and various daily and/or weekly reports as appropriate;
Remains proficient in cold calling, telemarketing, research, and other selling techniques;
Remains proficient in product knowledge of Company products and services, and assists as appropriate in research and development of new product lines.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Attributes We Seek In A Candidate Include:
High School diploma or GED required. Prefer at least 3 years sales experience, including some management or supervisory experience, with a demonstrated track record of success. Excellent oral and written communications skills along with strong math and analytical skills are required. Proficient PC skills to include word processing and spreadsheet applications also needed. Must possess an enthusiastic personality and a high degree of mental and physical stamina. Must be able and willing to function effectively in a stressful environment.
