Read more about this great career opportunity and learn why Norwegian is an employer of choice among so many.BASIC SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supporting Norwegian Cruise Line's Consumer Research Department's CRM processes, including internal reporting, implementations, business functionalities and CRM service modules. This entails supporting CRM projects from conceptualization to implementation and serving as a point of contact for CRM related needs. This position is also responsible for providing executive administrative support to the Senior Vice-President, Consumer Research and assisting the department's management team regularly with staff related tasks, sales support databases, reporting, processes, procedures and related projects. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Participates in business analysis efforts supporting CRM by working closely with end users on identifying and defining business objectives for the CRM system and with other CRM analysts and developers translating those objectives into effective CRM application functions. Conducts meetings with internal sales agents to understand their sales, marketing and customer service requirements and needs. Documents and understands the needs of end users, managers and other stakeholders toward contribution to the long-term strategic goals for the department's CRM needs. Develops CRM reports and report definitions. Works closely with other departments' team members including BI and Data Warehouse to ensure interoperability with CRM solutions. Works with sales system support personnel and managers to ensure that data entry, retrieval, change and delete functions meet business requirements for project completion. Troubleshoots CRM tools, systems and software; performance-tuning these applications as necessary. Prepares PowerPoint presentations for meetings and events when necessary including final editing, research presentation data and details, content verification and accuracy. Assists management with database validations for reservation errors and insufficient notes or information from Sales Team Leaders on particular reservations. Communicates findings that may lead to updated logs and corrections in databases. Assists with various database reports for compliance purposes weekly. Opens, sorts and distributes department mail. Orders and maintains office supplies. Ensures proper maintenance of office copiers, fax machines and coordinates service as necessary. Performs all other job related functions as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Technology, Business Administration, Management Information Systems is preferred; or any equivalent combination of directly relevant education and work experience. Minimum one year experience in Sales/CRM system operation and maintenance. Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Oracle CRMonDemand and SQL desired. Strong analytical skills. Good understanding of CRM principles and their importance to all parts to a department. Knowledge of business intelligence systems. Excellent organizational skills in order to gather and document business requirements. Good communication skills, both verbal and in writing, in order to thoroughly prepare specifications, make recommendations and effectively work with internal team members and external parties. Ability to prioritize and manage workload. Ability to work on a rotational on-call schedule which may include working evenings and weekends, determined by business demands. Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with strong emphasis on PowerPoint, Word and Outlook in order to support management with presentations, communications and scheduling meetings. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a sales time-sensitive environment.
